All Staff and Faculty have access to one virtual printer queue named AUPrinter1 from their workstations and students have access to AUPrinter2 from the computer labs.
Q1. Can I print from any device?

Q2. How can I turn on a printer?
Ans: Usually all printers automatically are on 24/7 but go to energy saver if it has not been used for a certain amount of time. Always try pressing the energy saver button at top and if it starts making noises that mean it is waking up. Please allow it few minutes and wait for the card reader to turn red.
Q3. How do I copy?
Ans: There are 2 places where you can input your documents:
NOTE: Document feeder/scanner A is mainly used only for papers equal to or bigger than A4 (8.5'' x11'') size. If it is a smaller than 8.5 x11 like an id card or even big but it is a book then DO NOT put it in the feeder A. User feeder/scanner D for it.
First (top) Feeder A:
a. Put the paper upside on the top feeder.
b. Adjust the scale.
c. Make sure to use the right graphical interface. (Double sided/color/size of the paper)
d. Then click start.

Second Feeder D:
a. Put the paper upside down and in vertical way.
b. Then close the feeder and use the graphical interface if needed.
c. Then Click start.
d. Don't open the feeder until your paper has completely been scanned to print.
e. Once the processing is done you will see a notification in the graphical interface saying "completed".
f. You can now open the feeder to take out your document/book.

Q3. How can I scan documents?
Ans: Below are some instructions:
1. Tap your card in the card reader to login.
2. Put the paper into one of the Feeder (A or D) as shown above.
3. Then it should bring you to the home page.
If it didn't then please press the Service Home on the top left corner.
4. Then select Email and select the following option:
- Add me (automatically add your algomau email and send the document to your algomau.
- Add a recipient (you can add your personal email id or any email id where you wish the document to be scanned to)
5. Then follow the prompts.
